so some people think oh i didnt stick to my resoultions in jan.. i miswell give up ... WRONG!
no one expects you to do it all in 31 days.. so get over it, and stick to it..!
here is my list i made and what i have or havent done wrote beside it in ( )
-Derby (i joined fresh meat come jan 2013 and so far i am loving it!!! sucked this past practice when i was sick.. but i cant wait to learn more, which i have alot to learn.. speaking of i havent been on skates scence i was a child.. and even as a child i hardly got to skate)
-lose weight (this so far has been a fail! it doesnt help being sick... and it doesnt help being between insurance info and not being able to go to the dr.. but i have been trying to get on tract of an exersise program.. hopefully it will help and hopefully someday we can figure out whats wrong with me... right now they say ibs/chrones diease... even thou for basicly 4 yrs they said celica diease... blahblahblah.. onward...)
-eat better meals and use juicer more (my breakfest and lunch is still kindof sucking.. but dinner is going alot better... .hay its a start... juicer havent got to use much as im sick and too lazy to do it for meals bc ive been skipping breakfest all together <which is a big no no to do.. but i have)
-school in aug... (well it says Aug.. so yeah.. but i did feel out judes headstart paper.. and ihave to do it again in feb or march for him too for aug... and i have started on getting my info together to fill out my stuff i gotta have done by april 1.. so some steps have been taken. ---i really hope jude gets into headstart bc if not i cant go in aug...)
-read more to jude (this one we have been doing.. we read 3 to 6 times a week.. i would really like to get to the pnt that we read each night before bed.. .and maybe in the day too like we have been from time to time)
-better sleep habbits (this is a major fail so far)
-read and learn more about my faith
and read more books
(the first one i do almost every day... the read more books.. i havent made it that far, YET)
-family vacation (i have picked out a date for a small one to st louis.. hopefully we have the $ to make it happen. it will just be a 2 day one.. but hay its a get away and it will make me just as happy as 5 days! id honestly raither take small ones to close areas for 2 days at time than a long get away far away at the moment)
-make survival kit (this here i have started.. i made a list of items we need for it, and i have 2 reuseable bags so far that is full... one step at a time)

tommorow jan 31 2013 you, jude will be 4! FOUR! oh my goodness were does time go?! i cant believe it... as a mother it always feel like he should be so tiny still and in my arms....
Jude im so blessed to have you
you have taught me so much about myself, the world, and just being a better person.
bc of you i have found my faith finally in life.
i have became a better person (some ppl might not agree w that.. but i sure can tell... bc somethings i use to say or do i wont do anymore)
you have made me grow so much, thank you.
i cant even imagen my life w/o you.
you are always #1 important in my life... i will always put you first and take care of you --- im your mother and thats what im here for!
im amazed by the things that come out of your mouth .. and how big your imagenation is... and how smart you have became in just 4 short yrs.
atm some of your fav things are:
Food: (hahaha how can i even post this... half the time you eat like a bird.) but you do like carrots, chicken /fries, pb and nutella sandwhichs, cupcakes!, meatballs and spagitte, pizza (most the time) &sushi
and your very random on eatting.. some days youll eat really good.. then for a week you wont.
fav tv shows: powerrangers, batman and spiderman (basicly mostly any super hero stuff atm), my little pony, horse land, chuck, leap frog ones, martha speaks, blues clues
fav movies: spiderman ones, cars 1&2 , toystory ones, madagasgare ones (man i cant spell! sorry), night mare before xmas,
fav things to play with : now your toys change from time to time but atm you love: playdough, cars, my little ponies, mom to read books to you, angery bird vedio game on our phone, stick horse, action figures
and ofcourse you love playing w your animals: your cats and dogs :) -youd have a zoo just like your mom if we had the room or if your dad would let us.
-i love when we are in the car or listen to music and at home and you try to sing along.
and you always ask to listen to the beatles- it makes my heart so happy! i hope you grow up to enjoy good music (what i consider to be good music :)!)

Survival Kit part 1
so as many of you know one of my new yr resoulutions is to make a survival kit.
things like this use to not worry me to have one of these.. but i do have a child now..
i had said last yr i wanted to do it.. and never even started on it... shame on me!
but i have already started on it this yr.. and its just jan!
i wish we had the money to make one all at one time but we dont... so i just pick up items from time to time to make it up.
i wanted to have it done by the end of 2013... sooner would be great.. but there is alot of things you need in these kits!
i went and looked for a tote this wkend and wasnt happy w any i looked at... so im going to wait so i can look and see if places like lowes has anything better.
so here is a small run down (from memory) of things you need to have in a survival kit. you can change it depending on your family.
hopefully i dont forget things on here.. im sure i will thou
but i hope this helps anyone who is looking into doing one.
(in no order)
*first thing first you need a 3 day food supply (dont forget your pets too!) (and each person/pet needs 1 gallon of water per day --- you probley wont be able to fit this in the tote.. but keep it some were in your home) (you can also buy water tablets.. might be a good idea to look into those too)
good ideas on foodage items would be items you dont have to cook.. (even if you have a small stove sometimes its better to save them for heat other than cooking.... i wish i had one.. but anywho.. im going to post items that dont have to be cooked)
-tuna fish
-can chicken
-mustard
-dried fruits
-beef jerkey, or summer sausage (meats like this)
-soups or stews. (might not be the best cold.. but hay its something if you have nothing)
-crackers
-canned fruit
-peanutbutter (and items like this)
-hot chocalte, instent coffee, hot apple cider pkgs
-peanuts
-apple sauce
-i have added small things of soy milk in mine too.. and will be adding some juice too for jude..
v8 juice is a good idea for adults too bc it has vitamens and veggies in it.
hope this gives you and idea of some food items. be sure to check the dates on them!!! you want something you only have to replace 6months to a yr.. or longer!
and be sure to have a paper on top of your tote that lets you know when you need to replace these items.
-keep toliet paper, wipes, diapers, tampons in there also.
if you have diapers for your kiddo be sure to change out as they grow! be sure to change out wipes too so they dont dry out!
-rope
-duct tape (im going to keep several rolls in mine)
-rolls of plastic (this is good incase you have to close off rooms)
-trash bags
-first aid kit (i add more to mine thou than the standard)
-flash lights and extar battiers (at least 1 per family member)
-candles
-blankets (they sale the lil silver blankets (cant think of name atm) but these are great.. bc they can be used for all diff stuff.. from making shelter from several, to making sleeping bags, to even holding water... i will try to post more info on this in another survival kit part (?) blog)
-hats, gloves for each family member
-sunscreen
-dish soap (i put dawn in ours bc its good for alot of things)
-soap and shampoo
-meds such as tylone, alergy meds, etc in there that your family might need. (be sure to keep up w dates on these too!)
-bleach
-chap stick
-some people will add guns and amo to this list also to be in there.
-i also added tooth brushes and toothpaste on my list
-along with deoarant
-shot records for you kid (make a copy!)
-make a list of phone numbers you may need also!
-any extar clothes or sets of shoes would be good to put in there... remember to change them out as your child or even you grow. lol
-hand warmers
-be sure to have some kindof items such as cards, crayons, coloring books,etc for your kiddos

Home made laundary soap (dry soap)
so i have been making home made laundary soap for 3 and half yrs now! and i love it!
so i want to share the receipe for you....
easy to make..
safes lots of money...
and last for a long time..
ENJOY!
1 box of borax (4lbs)
1 box (3lb) washing soda (armen hammer makes this.. *yellow box*)
1 4lb box or 2 2lb box of armen hammer pure baking soda
2 bars of fels naptha soap or zote soap (whatever you can find.. this will also be found down the laundary detg. ilse)
3lbs of oxy clean (i use the generic from dollar tree.. and if i cant make it there i use what is cheapest at walmarts... just make sure i get 3lbs of it)
and then i buy one bottle of purex crystal fabric softner (thats right this way you dont have to worry about adding fabric softner ... this is something i started doing this past yr.. bc before hand i made this a lil diff... but this is the best receipe and the largest long lasting i found so far!!! and also if yours start not to smell strong enough for you just go buy another bottle of it and add throu out the yr!.. .everyone is diff on how strong they want it)
The hardest most time consuming part is grating the bar soap.
make sure you mix all this up very well! you could pour some in a lil at a time and mix...
i use a big 5 gallon bucket (that you can buy at walmart.. and get a lid too for it... Perfect!)
this here makes a big batch.. so the 5 gallon bucket is nice to have.
you will need 2 Tablespoons per load for your clothes!
2 to 3 Tablespoons for over size loads or loads such as towels
ENJOY!!!

i have found the recipe for this liquid magic earse!! wow this will save lots of $$$.. i love the earsers but they crumble after i clean so much so i cant wait to try this.. and all i can say is were has this been all my life!?!?!

You are going to mix this right in you spray bottle! Add the warm to hot water and the Borax. Cover bottle and shake until Borax has dissolved. Next add the white vinegar. Lightly shake up and start cleaning

but right now our walls are red... but not red enough! so repainting it red is in need!
we have tour out the carpert last yr and put wood pieces in... much nicer!
i hate carpet and the smell and dirt it keeps in.
i can sweep my floor everyday and im amazed w how much dirt there is everyday.... so that tells you what is in the carpert that not all vacumes pick up.. but thats not my issues atm.. (we have 2 rooms that still have carpet thou :( ... major sad face)
anywho ----

CROCK POT CHEESE CHICKEN SPAGHETTI
Soooo this is SOOOOO easy!!! and simple!!! & yummy!
so here it is....
cut up your bell peppers, onions (i think you could add spinach to this too if youd like... i still want to try that!)

depending on your size of family depends on the amount of spaghetti you cook. you have to cook your noodles before you put them in your crock pot.
get a can of tomatoes and green chilies (i chose original bc i have a small child in the house.. but you could get the spicer ones if youd like)
also i got the big can of chicken for this. (which is a lil bit more then 2 cans of the small cans). you can use more or less chicken depending on the amount of people your feeding.
you can also use fresh chicken too (pre cook before putting in your crock pot ofcourse)
i just used what i have atm.. just like you can use diff noodles depending on what you have at the house.
then use 1lb of velveta cheese!
you can buy it in 1 lb bars.. are you can get the 2lb bars and use half and then you have the other half for another meal.. or you can use it for this meal again for the next week (this also works well bc if you have any left over and you dont finsh it up for lunch you can freeze it and then put it in the next time you make this... just another thought)
put it all in the crock pot.. then follow it by the cooked noodles on top..
after it cooks for a lil bit mix it all together (if you cant right away when you put it all in there)
and wa-la you can put it on when you have to go to work or to run arrens or just for one of those busy days.

granted i read as much as i could to him before - but i think i need to read at least 4 outta the 7 days of the week to him.. if not more!

this here is a very good read.. it tells about even thou this cat and elephant is different they can be friends.. and when you bond with someone so much you will search for them so you can be happy again!

this is just close to my heart.. you might rate it diff.. but eaither way still a good read!
I would like to do more of these reading for kids blogs if everyone out there might be interested in what books might be out there to get for their kiddos.

detox bath
so we are all sick in my household, AGAIN
:( :(
luckly jude has insurance! but josh and i no longer do as of jan 1st...
hopefully its just sinues junk... ??? i dk... but ugh!!! we feel horrible
i did find this online tonight, as im up and cant sleep bc im so stuffed up

i really believe in epsoide (sp) salt!!! i use it often in my baths.. but it looks like i will be maken a trip to town tommorow to pick up the baking soda and more epsoide salt also.
i dont trust giving my son a long 40 min bath like this .... but a lil bit of it in bathwater would probley make him feel better too --- but not to detox it like it says in here..
but i do believe i will try it myself for at least the 20 min period.

FULL WKEND!
so judes birthday party was a blast!
from fri to sun the weekend was FULL!
i spent friday mrng finshing up the info for judes headstart inrollement (doesnt mean he will get in.. for the rest of this yr they have no spots.. and at feb ill have to go back and inroll him for aug 2013 school yr... thats right i couldnt do it just yet... go figure)
then i spent the rest of the afternoon cooking diff colored cupcakes!
red, blue, yellow & green
food coloring is your friend!
along w judes own lil cake (which btw looked awsome iced intell jude wanted sprikles on it and then it was just too late to rebake one.. bc i didnt ice them tell after i got home from derby practice that night)
and then i had snack foodage to make too.. josh helped too, luckly.
but friday was packed between schoolage for jude, foodage for party and derby practice
saturday came around and its PARTY TIME!
we loaded everything up.. and i made 2 stops (dg and tnc) to buy spiderman balloons (they had no other super hero ones :( sighs) and then we headed to cape to lebounce!
we set up the room w our super hero decorations,foodage, gift bags, presents
lots of folks showed up... we ate, opened presents, had cake (i took pics here and there.. even thou in the room there wasnt much room due to the tables.. thankfully i rented the bigger room too!) and then afterwards we picked up the room (we had it rented for an hr) and then we took off and went and BOUNCED! for several hrs! the kids and adults had a blast... yes adults can play too :)
FUN!!
afterwards josh, jude and i went to cici pizza to get a bite to eat bc he was sleeepy... we was almost done and the lady came to ask for the plates and jude had to tell her he was 4 now.. and then all of a sudden she went and got ppl and a specail birthday brownie and they clapped and said happy birthday.. his smile was priceless.. (not as priceless as when he opened up his skates but still priceless!)
then we headed home were jude spent the rest of the night playing w toys!
saturday we had a birthday party to go to as well ... so off to sikeston we went....we had tones of fun
& then on the way back we stoped at my parents and spent some time w them..
by the time we got home it was midnight...
judes snotty today and not feeling well.
i feel a lil under the weather myself.. but not too bad.. i think its sinues mostly.

Pintrest Fail!!! -GLOW IN THE DARK BUBBLES-
so i had read on pintrest you break the glow stick and then mix the stuff inside it with your bubbles..
well needless to say the tub was glowing.. i just knew it was going to work.. and jude was so excited.. (this was one of our new yr eve things we was doing) and well we blew tones of bubbles.. and nothing.. and the bubble bottles were small.. and then i figured ill mix 2 glow sticks into one small bottle.. and well needless to say -NOPE! still didnt work!
so we dumbed them on the side walk ... it glowed some..
but this is a fail

17.do the polar bear plunge
18.get my arm finshed
19.go to a hank 3 concert
20.learn how to tattoo

35 BEFORE 35
so we have alot of list in our house this yr.
from things we want to get done around the house.. things get marked off and put on this list all the time.
to a weekly dinner list of items we are eatting each day
to a new yrs resoulution list.
so we figured we would do a fun 35 things we want to do before 35 yrs old
mines kindof a lame but here it is (in no order) :)!
1.Roller Derby... join and pass fresh meat testing and be on the season for at least a yr.. but hopefully more!
2.Take Jude to a famous rock concert *& a local show also!
3.Learn more White Stripe songs on drums!!
4.Take first day of school pics of Jude each yr on his first days! <EACH YR KEY WORD!>
5.see jack white or one of his bands hes in concert <3
6.Take a family vacation each yr.. no matter how small it may be.. even if its just local.. just take sometime to get away from the real world and relax and have fun w my family
7.Go to cooking school!
8.Go to Branson again
9.Live in a nicer house... OR make this one nicer
10. get a gun permitt
11. be a size 10 or smaller ..... weight 130 lbs or less (i got some work to do!)
12.make a top 10 book list and read them! (any suggestions???)
13.donate hair to locks of love
14.get a good paying cheft job... or be my own boss somewere cooking
15.take a baking class
16.open a cafe
17.take jude to a monster truck show
18. make a trip to az to see my best friend rikki and enjoy the travel while doing it and az while there too
19. get a matching tattoo with josh (we know what we want but id raither not post what it is atm)
20. gage my ears
21. learn to knitt
22. run a 5k (not just walk one! ive already did 2 walking wise)
23. make a survival kit for my family and keep up on replacing items when needs to be done.
24.make a mother and son dates .... maybe every other month have a day specail just for jude and me!
25.go camping w my family
26. family date nights.. do these the oppoiste months of mine and judes date nights
27. can some of my own food.. hopefully from my garden.. if not making jelly or something like that.
28. romance nights with josh.. date nights... we dont always have a sitter for jude but we could do date nights at home.. or possible a day every 4 months when hes in school or somen.. i dk for sure on the when these should be but we need to start on them. we could even have late night date nights.. movies nights or somen after jude goes to bed. who knows.. but when you love someone you want to spend time with them and let go of all stress from being grown ups. so yes date days/nights!

MY LITTLE SUPERHERO IS TURNING 4 SOON! --easy super hero decoration for party!-
jan 31st jude will be turning 4. Oh my were did time go!!!????!
sat the 19th will be his birthday party... josh and i saved up money for this scence his 3rd bday party he didnt get much of one due to me being in the hospital and us being short on money so this yr we made sure of it!
Super hero lebounce party!

(i posted alink to the pic from my fb and made this pic public bc some reason this blog wont let me upload pic atm :( ---not off to a good start blog!)
but anywho.. if you go look at the pic i bought the cheap 87 cent kids cups! 6 of them for this.. and jude can use after wards for drinking.. so its a win win!
then i already had diff color packaging paper --- so i used them to stuff the cups (you could use this or tissue paper, fabric, sand.. anything you have on hand) then i got the cabob sticks and then i got constration papers and then cut out the super hero design and then i wrote super hero type words on it
-splat, kaboom, pow, zap, and other words such as this...
and then i taped them on the sticks and BAM! its that easy and that cheap!!!
and most of all you can reuse the cups and also you could use the word sticks for pics like a photo booth if you wanted to... we probley wont bc we only have the room rented for an hr for food and presents and cake and what not! and then after the hr the kids will bounce tell they cant bounce anymore! but thats just another idea!
---i also got very lucky the past few months.... superhero invites, a table cover and stickers all for 10 cents each! no joke! and then i also got a spiderman balloon for $3... spiderman plates and napkins (the none yellow eye spiderman) for $1 each... iron man balloon along w a few stand up cut outs along w it... the whole pkg for 50 cents!!! and then i got spiderman cupcake holders for $1 a pkg! then spiderman gift bag pkgs for the kiddos (i got 2 pkgs of them for $2!) and then batman gift bag for the kiddos (i got 2 pks for $1) and then i got his candle which is a 4 on a stick along w 2 stars on their own stick.. the whole pkg from dollar tree for $1

and due to all the savings we was able to rent a room at lebounce for his party part! and then the parents will get to enjoy possibley an early night sleep for their kiddos after a fun day of bouncing afterwards!
i will also be making the cupcakes and judes lil cake too --- i will hopefully share this also!
